Titles are selected on the basis of merit assessments and approved by an Editorial Board made up of 10 , some of whom are university staff and some of whom work in other institutions, all of whom are prominent in their fields.
In its 40 years of existence, Editora da Unicamp has published more than 1,400 books to a high editorial standard.
Its current catalogue includes around 600 titles from various fields of knowledge. This catalogue includes works that address issues on the contemporary scientific agenda, classic and innovative works in the fields of science, art and literature, textbooks, collections and thematic series, as well as the annual collections of essays from the Unicamp entrance exam. Through its own publishing initiatives or in co-operation with national and foreign publishers, Editora da Unicamp conveys knowledge across a broad socio-cultural spectrum and addresses the most diverse forms of knowledge and cultural expression, whether in the form of printed books or digital publications. The quality of its academic, editorial and graphic production has earned Editora da Unicamp numerous important awards.
The aim of disseminating Unicamp’s own production does not prevent the reception of works of a university nature from those interested in publishing through the publishing house, which is always open to new proposals.
